Greenday - American Idiot [2004]

2. Jesus of Suburbia
3. City Of The Damned
4. I Don't Care
5. Dearly Beloved
6. Tales Of Another Broken Home
7. Holiday
8. Boulevard Of Broken Dreams
9. Are We The Waiting
10. St. Jimmy
11. Give Me Novacaine
12. She's a Rebel
13. Extraordinary Girl
14. Letterbomb

16. The Death Of St. Jimmy
17. East 12th St.
18. Nobody Likes You
19. Rock and Roll Girlfriend
20. We're Coming Home Again
21. Whatsername

They're all grown up now & their music reflects the same. This is definately one of their best albums since Dookie & Nimrod.

It might sound a tad commercial but it works. The influences on this album are quite a few but the punk music undertone is quite clearly the driving force.

Verdict: If you like Green Day then buy this album. If you don't like Green Day then you'll like them after you buy the album. American Idiot is one of those Albums that will be around for a while.

Buddy Guy - Stone Crazy [1981]

1. I Smell A Rat
2. Are You Losing Your Mind?
3. You've Been Gone Too Long
4. She's Out There Somewhere
5. Outskirts Of Town
6. When I Left Home

The headachy speed-jumble guitar in the opening track, "I Smell a Rat," scared blues purists away from Guy's 1979 French session when it surfaced stateside on Alligator in the early 1980s. Too bad. If they'd hung on through the Jimi Hendrix simulacra and magnific postures they'd have found the album closer, 'When I Left Home," utterly riveting for its raw, sincere bloodletting.
